Reiki 1 covers the history of Reiki and the five Reiki Principles. the hand positions, energy work, basic energy clearing and Chakra clearing. The afternoon will include the Attunements themselves as well as some basic tools for energy protection and the everyday use of Reiki. The day is ended by treating each other, practicing the hand positions and tools learned during the course of the day. You will go away prepared for a process of self-healing which follows for the following twenty one days.

The day is full and very intense, with the course 'working' through lunch; energising the food and drink as well as talking about the effects of eating energetically & with energetics in mind, taking care of ourselves and those around us with awareness and respect.

Reiki 2 covers incorporating the Reiki Principles into daily practice, we'll spend time working with the Chakras, energy fields and the morning will be spent doing treatments and meditations and 'talking' Reiki, sharing our experiences and treatments to get the energy flowing and cleared out in preparation for the Afternoon Attunements.

The Attunements takes place in the afternoon, following a wholesome vegetarian lunch which we'll share at midday.

Following the Attunement  we practice the symbols as newly Attuned Practioners, and include the distant healing symbol which we will use collectively to send healing out to times and places where that is needed. We discuss the different methods for distant healing, the power of intention, creating a healing album and creating a sacred 'Reiki' space and healing grid at home for us to do Reiki distant healings on a daily basis. 

Reiki 2 is a full day course and ends with discussion on how to undertake a professional treatment, insurance, consultation and a code of ethics.
